From Paperwork to Placement

A step-by-step guide to bringing skilled workers from Mexico & Jamaica to your U.S. business.

We Handle The Bureaucracy

With over 16 years of experience, we have streamlined the H-2A (Farm) and H-2B (Non-Farm) process. While the government timeline is typically 75-90 days, our proactive approach ensures no time is wasted.

Day 1 - 15

Strategy & Job Filing

We consult with you to determine your worker needs. Then, we file the job order (ETA-790) with your State Workforce Agency (SWA) to begin the official process.

Day 15 - 45

DOL Certification & Recruitment

We file the ETA-9142A with the Department of Labor. Simultaneously, we activate our recruitment network in Mexico & Jamaica to vet experienced candidates ready for your season.

Day 45 - 75

USCIS Approval

Once DOL approves, we petition USCIS (I-129) for the final federal authorization. This is the critical step that allows us to secure visas for your specific workers.

Day 75 - 90

Consulate & Travel Logistics

We schedule interviews at the U.S. Consulate abroad, handle passport logistics, and coordinate transportation to ensure your workforce arrives at your doorstep on time.

What You Need to Start

To participate in the H-2A or H-2B program, employers must meet specific federal standards. Farm Aid H2A LLC helps you verify compliance before we file.
